![]() | Ted Shriro - Building Designer, DrafterTed’s interest in sustainable design strategies brought him to Habitats in October of 2006. As building designer and drafter, Ted draws upon his B.A. in fine arts from the University of California, Berkeley where he explored using natural materials in his sculpture. While pursuing a graduate degree in architecture at the University of Oregon, he worked with the National Capital Center in Portland, providing research for their book Rebuilt Green about the LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold Certification Process. Ted has experience working on commercial and residential projects as a land planner, designer and project manager. Prior to Habitats he worked for several local architecture firms, providing LEED leadership for their projects. Ted is also a registered LEED accredited professional with the US Green Building Council. |
