Digger's passion for community service and ecological innovation gives him much enjoyment accentuating the aesthetic and functional nature of a site to create holistically healthy spaces for community. In addition to ecological landscape design and habitat restoration with Habitats, Digger works at The Oregon Country Fair site doing vegetation management and erosion control which provides a wonderful living laboratory for sustainable stewardship. Implementing and nurturing habitat restorations like the 10,000 native plant project at Ames Creek gives him more personal and professional pride and satisfaction than his work on flight guidance software for the prototype space shuttle.
