Construction

Exterior Details

Here in the Pacific Northwest, the exterior of a home takes a beating - from a saturated winter with cold snaps to summers that top 100 degrees at least once a year. In order for our homes to last a century, which is our goal for all construction, Habitats always takes great care in the details: wood is always primed so that all sides, including cut ends, are protected from the elements; geometry is used to move water so that we never depend solely on caulking; and all exposed fasteners are either stainless or ceramic, to name just a few of the typical measures we take to ensure your investment will last a lifetime or two.
